Associate Software Engineer
Job Location: Hyderabad
Job Description: Associate Software Engineer - Fresher's Drive - 24th September, 2016
On the walk-in day you are expected to-
Be at the Fission Labs office by 9:00 AM on 24th September 2016
Bring the following: a copy of your resume, 2 passport size photos, copies of your certificates and mark sheets, AND your answer sheet to the assignment, which will be emailed to you before the walk-in.
Round 1: A brief screening test (approximately 10 minutes).
Round 2: A written test on Java/Python and Analytical Aptitude & Reading Comprehension for those who get through the screening test.
Round 3: Technical discussion(s) for the candidates who qualify AFTER the written test.
The week after the walk-in-
Rounds 4 & 5: Shortlisted aspirants will be notified for Management & HR discussions in the following week.
Your Role:
Looking for freshers who want to be a part of the engineering team that creates world-class software for fast-growing tech startups from Silicon Valley and some of World's most popular brands. You will be responsible to ensure that we build, ship and run software of the highest quality that delight end-users and help businesses succeed.
What we look for/Skills:
Only 2015/16 graduates with a B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA / MSc degree in computer science or related field.
Strong object-oriented design and coding skills must (Java, JavaScript, Python/Django, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, or C/C++).
Fundamental knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Solid analytical and reasoning skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
Being able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and successfully handle multiple priorities.
Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
